RETURNS/EXCHANGE/REFUNDS - POLICY
Returns
Returns – Local – Our Policy lasts 7 calendar days. If more than 7 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Returns - Caribbean – Our Policy lasts 21 calendar days. If more than 21 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Exchange
We will replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your purchase for the same item, please complete and submit our Contact Form - Subject-DAMAGED ITEM- and we will respond within 3-5 calendar days. You will have to ship the item to: Tales N Treasures – 19 Delhi Street, St James, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago 00000 at your cost, which is not refundable. Depending on the cost of the item and your method of shipping, you may want to consider tracking and insuring your package. We cannot guarantee your item will get to us intact or in time.
Refunds – Unfulfilled Orders:-
There may be occasions where the stock of a particular product or book is limited. We will try our best to notify you of this before you place your purchase. Whether or not we have notified you before you have placed an order, if talesntreasures.com has insufficient stock to deliver all or part of your order, we will notify you as soon as possible of which parts of your order have been accepted.
Sums debited (if any) by Talesntreasures.com from any source of payment in respect of the items you have ordered will be re-credited to your Credit card if we are unable or unwilling to supply to you and we will so inform you by your email address provided.
Any refund applicable will be made as soon as possible and in any event, within 15 days, subject to the time processes set by Banks or Credit card companies, over which we have no control. Tales N Treasures will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Please note that there will be no refunds if an order has already been shipped. If you wish to return items please follow the Returns process above.
Refunds
We will refund items (except for those listed below*) provided they are returned in the original packaging intact and in the same condition that you received it, together with the original valid receipt/proof of purchase, within the time period of our Returns policy above.
*Exceptions:-
Magazines, Bookmarks, Pass-along Cards, Gift Cards and Books with obvious sign of use
For Health reasons: - Accessories such as Face Masks, Socks and Earrings.
Stationery, Games and Puzzles (unless there is a manufacturer’s defect) or “Buyer’s Remorse”.
Items described on the website as ‘Sale’ or ‘Clearance’.
Once your item is received and inspected and a refund is approved, we will notify you by the email address provided and your refund will be processed to your Credit card. The time taken for this is subject to the process at your Credit Card Company or Bank. If you do not receive your refund after 21 days, please first check with your Bank or Credit Card Company before using our Contact Form to provide details so that we can assist in the process.
If you used a Direct Bank transfer method of payment, your refund will be via a Cheque issued by Tales N Treasures and sent to an address advised by you.
You can receive a Credit Coupon to be used against your next Online Purchase as an option for a Credit Card or Cheque refund. You can express this choice via our Contact Form.
